How the Licensing Process Works

All licensing and adaptation requests follow this process:

  1. Submit an Inquiry — Use the contact form below or email us directly with full project details.
  2. Initial Review — We will review your inquiry within 10–15 business days. Not all inquiries will receive a response.
  3. Preliminary Discussion — If your project aligns with our brand values and standards, we will schedule a discovery call to discuss scope, timeline, and terms.
  4. Letter of Intent (LOI) — Qualified projects will be asked to submit a formal Letter of Intent outlining the proposed adaptation, distribution plan, creative team, and financial terms.
  5. Option Agreement — Upon mutual agreement, a formal Option Agreement will be drafted and executed by both parties before any creative or production work begins.
  6. Full License Agreement — If the option is exercised, a comprehensive IP License Agreement governing all rights, royalties, credits, approvals, and restrictions will be executed.

Submission of an inquiry creates no contractual obligation on the part of The Architect Store™. We reserve the right to decline any inquiry at any stage of the process without explanation.
